AutoQuestionGen is an intelligent question paper generation system powered by UiPath RPA automation. It accepts curriculum parameters and autonomously generates customized academic assessment papers — eliminating hours of manual work and human formatting errors from the educational assessment workflow.
The Problem
Question paper preparation in educational institutions is time-consuming, error-prone, and highly repetitive. Faculty spend 3–5 hours per exam preparing, formatting, and proofreading papers. Inconsistent difficulty distribution and poor topic coverage weaken assessment quality.
The Solution
A UiPath RPA workflow orchestrates the full paper generation pipeline: accepting curriculum input via a structured form → selecting questions from an AI-assisted question bank based on difficulty and topic distributions → assembling and formatting the paper to institutional standards → exporting a print-ready document. The AI content selection layer ensures balanced difficulty and comprehensive topic coverage.

Question banks in educational institutions are often stored in inconsistent formats (Word docs, Excel sheets, PDFs) requiring robust multi-format parsing before the RPA workflow could operate on them. A pre-processing pipeline normalized all question bank sources into a canonical XML schema that UiPath could reliably query.
